re: Has anybody been to Action Park in New Jersey?

I grew up near there and our parents wouldn't take us there because people got hurt there so often. Once friends were old enough to drive we went all the time during the '80's. it was crazy. I recall they had one pool where you can jump all the cliff into it. I was about 50 feet up and you had to clear a ledge below.
Teens would drink in the parking lot for hours before going in, then ride the go-carts (fast) and alpine slides and what not crashes happened often. It was a ski resort in the winter time. During the summer the water (spring fed) was still freezing.
Good times
