Any oil industry economists out there?
With the tremendous negative impact on oil companies in Houston from Harvey does this create a greater opportunity for Lafayette to fill the void and positively impact the Lafayette economy?

If you're a rental company, probably so.

It's not going to be a boom for companies that cater to the drilling side though.

We'll be in a Mad Max style post-apocalyptic world soon. Gas won't normalize for 90 years. Packs of feral dogs will roam the streets as gangs of ruffians rape and reave throughout the countryside.

It's helping one company I know of for sure. Not the way they would like to enhance business I'm sure.
