Jackson only has the population to support one or two nights, and that is all we got. Bigger cities like New Orleans and Memphis get the popular shows because they can run them one to two weeks. Now if someone would just bring back Oh Calcutta
I mean, I hear ya. I’m just saying, if Carousel comes to Baton Rouge, I’ll get watch it with bells on

That’s a good list. I would suggest seeing Aladdin. Saw it on Broadway and went in thinking, “the genie will be disappointing compared to an animated Robin Williams.” Needless to say, I was wrong and the genie was downright amazing. Better than Lion King IMO. Also, it’s not a play, but Six is really really good. Wife (no pics) brought me to see it. I had no idea what it was about when I walked in the theater, but the music is great. It’s on my workout playlist for the gym.
To be clear, I’ll watch anything. Honestly, one of my favorite things about having season tickets at the theater is that I end up seeing things I wouldn’t have seen otherwise, and I usually enjoy it. With that said, I’ve heard nothing but good things about Six.
