Some of these kids are coming into good schools in small numbers and wrecking them. If parents really want what's best for their children, or to give them a quality education, then they should have no problem with this. Regrettably, it doesn't work this way.
Is this true? I was under the assumption that the private schools who accept vouchers are free to hold the voucher students to the same disciplinary standards and consequences as all other private pay students.

As far as I know yes but they are not held to the same standard of testing as the private school students. The Vouchers still take the state test.

I was referring to them coming into other public schools, not private. Thus, the M to M and "school of choice" connotation.

I love how some parents think all they have to do is fork out money and send their kid to a private school and they'll magically come home with straight A report cards. These voucher kids are still failing because their parents are failures at parenting. My sons attend a private school that I sacrifice to be able to pay for and without me and my wife spending hours each night with homework and studying, they'd be F students too. While I do feel they are receiving a better education, I feel I am paying more for the environment they are in at their school more than anything.
