15 years ago today same thing happened to me. Was 40 feet away minding my own business when tube fell over and shot a firework into my arm. Luckily I was rather toasty on Bud heavies so it just burned a little. So easily could have been my eye - was really lucky.

I have scars from firework wars in my youth but they don't scare me.....I think that was a Driving n Crying album.
Neighbor girl wanted attention when I was hanging out with her brothers group of guys. She tossed firecracker onto my shoulder from behind me, and thinking it was the horsefly from earlier, I hunched my shoulder and tilted my head catching the Black Cat against my neck just below ear.
Checked last night in mirror and can still barely see the scar on neck about size and shape of a fingerprint.
