Had a dream within a dream last night

First time that's ever happened to me. Scared the shite out of me.
I dreamed that I was lying awake in my bed when I started hearing someone walking around my house. My wife (no pics) is out of town, and so in my dream I was thinking that she had come home unexpectedly.
Then all of a sudden the covers were pulled over my head and a heavy weight (like a person) was on top of me trying to pin me down. I kept trying to get it off, but couldn't.
Then I "woke up" and I was in my bed in my room. Everything seemed as it should. I got up to get some water. But none of the lights in my house were working. Then someone grabbed me from behind.
Then I woke up for real. First time in my life I've ever bolted upright in a panic.
Maybe I need to quit watching so many scary movies.
This ever happen to anyone else?
