Yeah, it's amazing how much times have changed. My kids wanna stay inside and play XBox all day.

We were nuts as kids. True story. One day a few friends and I rode our bikes across the green bridge to the Plaza in Lake Forest. We ate ice cream at Farrell's and played video games at Space Port all day.

I played with Brett Suebe. Vista park was great. Especially when they would forget to lock the gym. We'd play all evening until someone kicked
Us out. Remember the spook house every Halloween?

I grew up with Brett. Hell, his family was like my 2nd family through high school. That's good people.

And frick that spook house. Brett's brother in law chased me once, notice I said once, into the fricking parking lot with a chainsaw. That was the last I ever went to that thing.

Another thing to add to the list: open keg parties at the old Scout house. Was pretty common during the early-mid 80s.

He'd love this comment. True story. Brett beat the shite out of Glenn Lemoine, a LB @ Tulane in the late 90's, on his front lawn. Glenn had about 2ft and 60lbs on Brett. One of the toughest guys I've ever known.

What about Grumpy's teen club by Paris road? That's where I learned to get my groove on.

That gym burning down was a sad day in my life. We had to go back to playing in driveways or sneaking into swim club in the winter.

Sneaking into that swim club was one of the easiest things in the world to do.

Wasn't some lady at the house (Lebeau or Meraux) worth a zillion dollars?
