Even if they did, how do a select few get to represent all?

I don't lump all white people together. Most of the black people I know and interact with wouldn't either. Of course there are a few I am sure. Generally I avoid trashy people so I might not have the same problem as you.

If we are being honest, it is way more than a few. Generalizations are rampant in our society. It makes justification easy.

I agree with you here. To me, trash is trash. Skin color is not relevant. It's a "call it like you see it" thing.
