Good news everyone, Coronavirus will save lives!

So with all all the hysteria of the Coronavirus shutdowns, not only will this prevent the spread of corona, it will prevent the spread of the normal flu.
In one month, we've experienced the "tragedy" of 260-ish deaths....but apparently no one has died of the normal flu. A savings of thousands of lives!
Can anyone find out how many died of the normal flu this past month? My guess is that it is less than what we naively lived with for the past 1-100 years.
Long live corona, the savior of lives!

Coronavirus kills at a higher rate than flu and we have no treatment for it, so I’d rather take my chances with the flu.

There is a vaccine for flu and a pretty large number of people refuse to get it. Will probably hold true for covid as well.

I guarantee when there's a coronavirus vaccine they'll start making it a combo with the seasonal flu vaccine. This incident will be taken advantage of to boost voluntarily flu vaccinations and that strategy will probably work for a good 5-10 years I bet.

If before, 100,000,000 People went to the mall in February, and 1,000,000 (1%) got the flu, 7,000 died...we didn't care.
Now 10,000,000 may go to the mall, 300,000 get the flu & corona, only 1,200 may die.
