I hear Jason Dufner is single again. Maybe you can wash his balls for him.

Lady friend asked me to. Gonna do dinner with my grandparents afterward so it'll be a good compromise.

Are you closely related to the couple having the party?

Otherwise why go?

Gender reveal parties just seem like an excuse to get more presents.

Because the girl he is seeing wants to go. Sometimes you have to do things you don't want to because they are important to others.

The SO is close to the couple. I went to high school with them but not as close. She was in their wedding.

It's only a few hours during an afternoon and I could couple it with a visit to see my grandparents so I said I'd go with her when she asked me to.

Good friend of mine chose to go to a gender reveal party with his wife and blow off a guys weekend fishing, drinking and eating. He didnt tell us at the time why he couldnt come with us..we had to find out by the pictures they posted of him on Facebook......

To this day we give him more shite..sometimes it makes him so mad he wants to fight

Everytime we plan something now we make sure to ask him if he as a gender party or some gay shite to attend that weekend....he'll never live it down

agree, but do people bring more gifts to these parties?

if it's just another reason to get together with friends and family, then fine...but if it's another party to have more gifts, then I find it fairly stupid

Actually I did "go" to one for my sisters second child. We were all tailgating for a Bama game and she just walked out and got us together and said "it's a boy"

I think I was at the houndstooth though

Oh, I still think its stupid, but I'd go to one if invited. Not sure if you are supposed to bring gifts or not, I wouldn't.

I could see it being a very small gathering of close relatives and close friends. But yeah.....you suck if you are expecting gifts to be brought to one. I don't think gifts are expected though. Never been to one, thankfully I don't have friends/family that do crap like that.
