Hell, I'm ready for a beer. Someone's gotta be the signal caller in this situation though.
I told this dude we should have slept in. Gone to the casino/strip club. Pick up the boat tomorrow morning and drive back. He's hell bent on making this a one day trip.

Why can't you run part of the boat up on top of the cab? If it slides you could drive some spikes down through the roof into the cab.

Just make sure you strap it down tight- the wind will want to rip it off when the wind gets under it.
Take the time to pull over and check your straps for tightness after you get moving.

Nah, not needed. That is why you drive spikes through the cab roof...Straps could tear and they are expensive.
