BR to Perdido took me 3.5 hours with no stopping

not as fast as the 35 min by plane...but no airports

I'm taking the small plane so it's not far from hang gliding

also the destin airport is 5 minutes from the beach

Doesn't your company's pilot have his flight instructor rating? If you go get a medical certificate you can log your flight to Destin as instruction.

Looks like there are no direct flights out of BR to Destin. Only connecting and costing around $488.
