I don't care for it at all in a can. Any of the Abita's for that matter. Glass is definitely the best vessel.

I'm a big believer that wine tastes very different when poured into different glasses/cups/etc. My friends never believe me until I pour their favorite red wine into a cab glass instead of the 3/8" thick painted chalice they are used to.

Wine and beer. Beer glasses can make a huge difference. Aerating or using proper glasses can bring out the flavors of good wines too. Decanting cheap wines can sometimes make them taste off though. It's more for wines that have vintages, not barefoot.

That's because decanting softens the tannins. Cheap wines typically aren't known for their aging ability or tannins.

Try pouring wine into a shot glass and tell me what you smell...

Correct. Typically without vintages aren't for aging. They are for immediate consumption. stuff like yellowtail and apothic have vintages on the bottle, but are still not to be considered for aging or decanting.
