Because the horse transfers all of his movement to you? Or do you try to absorb that with your legs and saddle???

And after you answer my question about "body cues" you give the horse, one final horse question, and I'll leave you alone...

When you're doing a jumping horse show- do you talk to the horse? Do you verbally tell him when to jump at all?

I know I drive you crazy with these questions...but how many different signals are you giving that horse to jump?

I mean, I say whoa a lot on course, he just doesn't listen. No verbal cues to jump. You just ride to he correct distance and apply more leg.

So, if I just heard you correctly, you're saying your main "problem" is holding him back because he WANTS to jump.

My horse just wants to run. The jumps are like speed bumps.

And yes. You can't be around horses and not get hurt
