Do yourself and don't go to Sam Adams. Go to Harpoon instead. Better beer and better tour

Not to say you're wrong, but how would you get out to charlestown to begin with? Either way you're taking an Uber back into the city

FYI I live in Charlestown and absolutely love it, but you're 100% right about the lack of public transportation.

Yeah, any view that includes downtown and the river is great. I was thinking more like this -- with the sun reflecting off the dome. I don't remember the skyline overpowering the Statehouse this much though; things have changed since I lived there.

Also, if you're a sports fan, and have ever given even the slightest thought to hockey, Harvard is playing 2 or 3 games at home next weekend. Dunno about the Broons, but that would be pretty expensive anyway if you aren't already a committed fan -- college hockey is affordable and can be insanely entertaining.

Yeah that one is much more indicative of the pictures I have on my phone. I just don't know how to post those here.

If you like Italian food, definitely hit up the North End.

Get a picture on the bench that Robin Williams sat on.

Walked. But nobody wants to walk the freedom trail after already having done so

My only point was you would either have to take an Uber out to charlestown to start, or take an uber after you're done. So it wouldn't really matter where you started.
