Going out of town this weekend. I suppose I should get a test when I get back. Does it take a couple of days to show up on a test if you get it?

I need to know so I don’t get close to my sister in law.

Why? If you are asymptomatic and are not aware of being exposed to someone with it why are you being tested?

If you are tested with no symptoms...could still take 2-14 days from your exposure to show symptoms.

So if you go get tested with no symptoms and test negative...could be you don't have it....or you do but just haven't developed enough of a viral load to test positive.

Idk. Just feel like that since I am flying I might want to get tested when I get back. She is recovering from cancer and I watch my niece sometimes when she gets treatments. If I have symptoms I certainly would stay away. I feel it’s more important to get tested if I am a symptomatic.

Just wear a mask, practice social distancing and disinfect and wash your hands for the first week or 2.

Also make sure to self monitor in that time. Take your temperature daily and know that they have expanded the symptoms. It's more than just fever, shortness of breath and cough. They also now look for headaches, body aches, chills, sore throat, etc.

We can all say that really.

But I don't have it today, which means I can help out my dad with some of his appointments later this week assuming I'm feeling better...and for that I'm grateful.

I thought I had it back in January...went and got an Antibodies test a couple weeks ago and it was negative.

I kinda wished it would have been positive.....but I'm still suspect of the results. I had all the symptoms and so did about a dozen other people I had been around and knew around that time
