They shut the pier and everything around it down yesterday bro because the news ran a story about it being "packed" the day before on Saturday. Talking about the small beach and the amount of people around. The mayor got pissed and shut it down. When I saw the news story I said well that's the end of that. I would take my son down there everyday or every other day. Fml

Morning all.
Off work today. But now I feel guilty about it. Like maybe I should have cancelled it and just gone into work.
Granted I requested today and tomorrow off months ago.

That is how I try to look at it.
I've always had a policy to NOT work on my birthday. I don't need a big celebration or birthday week or whatever...I just don't work on that day and make the day a day I just do what I want to do.
