Not all promulgation is legal, even if the intent is pure
If anyone wanted to bring a country to its knees, this is how you do. Where people think it’s a good thing. This ain’t a good thing and no good will come of it.

What I don't like, and I posted this on another board, is that we are establishing a baseline about doing all of this. And the next time something comes up, and it most assuredly will, (it seems to happen every few years) that we're going to go through this plan of action again. I don't think it's sustainable for an economy.

Not having the healthcare system go to complete shite to where people end up dying cause we don't have the manpower/meds/equipment/etc to treat them is a good thing

I'm trying to decide what to do with my dad who is 71. He has a routine appointment with his regular doctor next week (he goes every 3 months cause of his diabetes).
As of right now....keeping the appointment. I always go with him so I can at least assess the waiting area and make sure he sits as far away from others as possible.
Part of me wants to reschedule till next month...but then will him not seeing his PCP now feed into his massive anxiety issues. He's become a total agoraphobic and never leaves the house now unless it's a doctor's appointment. Which right now...is a good thing for him.

Nurse, try to get some 95 mask and gloves for him. I have a weekly blood work done at the local hospital. I use the mask and gloves when I go.
Side note. wife got a call asking her to go to work cause someone is sick. Not happening at all any time soon.
That is at a pharmacy were sick people are showing up.

It's hard to say that no good will come of it.
It's also hard to say that it's a good thing.
And it's impossible to say whether the good will outweight the bad.
Are the lives being wrecked worth the ones potentially being saved?
I sure as shite don't know, but I don't like giving the government more power.
