One of my brothers. The one that passed away about two years ago. 
He also gave me a shite load of quarter sawed old growth pine flooring that came out of New Orleans. Easy over 100 years old. Enough to do the rest of the guess house.
Was going to start putting that down, but this cold is kicking my arse. Even the family jewels are hurting.

Sure is some very hard wood. Had threw some scraps in the wood stove. It didn't want to burn. Took forever.
Oh, I still have a lot of it. Might try to do a big inlay in the living room with it.
