My dad and uncle used let me sit in their laps while we drove but instead of a Coke or Gatorade in the cup hold it was usually a Bud Light

Don’t let them frick with you. I let my 4yo drive my beater 2007 Camry out our driveway and down our street with my 3yo sitting in my lap in the passenger street.
