Still setting everything up. Will be a slow start but hopefully Im building it the right way. I have a trip Sunday and two next week. It has rained so much this week, I think the gulf water level is up.

That's smart, ease into it.
What's the busy season for that area? Spring-Summer?

Good Morning Humans
Wacky Wednesday!
Time to mix it up, even if it’s just a little.
I’m tempted to really put the hammer down and do something wild like wear unmatched socks. Maybe even park head-in instead of backing it in. The possibilities are virtually endless.
Go make a statement of your individuality today.

Spring for fishing. For visitors, Dec-May. Snow birds.
Fishing is good year round. Just have to adjust. Winter is one of my favs. Not as many people and lots of good near shore fish and dock fishing is fantastic. Since I am a converted Bass fisherman.
Right now, snook are good and trout are always good. The offshore fish are almost too far for me to reach.
Have been out of pocket for a week with some issues with my mom. May be driving to Georgia today or tomorrow, just waiting on some info. My trip this weekend is in jeopardy. We will see.

Got ya. You're mainly inshore with the occasional offshore, I see.
What's the run to get into decent offshore fish... 50-100 miles?

Right now thats correct. They are out there at least 50. I will near nearshore <10 miles. We have some good fishing in that range a good bit of the year.

That's a lot of fuel
I don't blame you for staying close
I think most don't know how much fuel boats use until they own one

I am running a 25’ bay boat so 10 miles is enough with customers. I can get in and out safely and feel comfortable in it. I have had it out 40 miles before but I wouldn’t take customers that far out in it.
Need a bigger sled for that.

ETA: I’m not a medical person at all so the less of this shite I see the better
