On a personal level… my horses are definitely both smarter than most of them men I’ve known.

And less dangerous than cows.

But it also speaks for the pool as a whole in general.

And speaking of horses Aspy, our car group caravan stopped at Delta Downs yesterday and got a personal tour of the facility by Dr HK and General Manager SK. It was pretty awesome to hear and see what goes on behind the scenes and how everything is put together.

I like delta. Is that the older state vet with the beard? If so…he took me under his wing when I was free labor at the track and we had one that won and got sent to the test barn.

Yes it is. He is part of our group and had a wonderful evening with dinner with he and his wife last night. I was thinking yesterday, I was probably walking through the same area Aspy has spent a lot of time in.
Have to tell you, I learned a whole lot about how the sport is put together yesterday and last night. He has a lot of stories!

Oh I’m sure he does!

He’s a fabulous person and I’ll always be grateful to him for helping me. I’d never even seen the test barn, and the first horse I ran won. He took me back and showed me the lab and everything.

He really is and I'm glad to know him. I'll see him again in a couple weeks and tell him "Aspy" says hi. (Him: Who is Aspy?! )

My sister met someone from the Edmonton area on one of the US Islands while in med school.

He is a great addition to the family, keeps her straight, and is like a brother to me.

He is still in Canadia working while my sister is in the BR area. They are still working on getting him down here. They just got married in October..

Been through Edmonton and a little further north. Wife is from Calgary. They don't claim anything on the east side of there.
