Morning everyone. The kids and families are gone and the house is quiet again. The washer and dryer were working overtime yesterday with sheets, pillowcases, towels and whatever else found its way over there.
Hope Santa was good to y'all.

Good morning all you New Year's Eve Eve-ers!

I'll have to tell ya'll about my Dome experience yes-tidy.

I remembered why I don't go to pro football games anymore.

? no more play by play announcers
? loud, stupid sound bites between plays
? crowd isn't really into football, just eating

All that said, the Dome is a fantastic venue, people were nice, even for Raider fans
The bar was serving Buffalo Trace, generous pours. Food options were so-so, but decent.

Can't beat the Dome for ingress and egress to the Interstate, too.

that's nice, my daughter worked for the Cowboys in suite sales for about 10 years so we've been to quite a few events at Jerry World, still go a few times a year, good thing is when we go we are in a suite, so there's play by play, relay, of course they have the 60 yard Jumbotron, bad news is the product is the Cowboys

I love that venue, but it's weird looking so far down at the field.

Supedome's field is @ street level which is an anachronism in today's NFL.

Jerry got that one right

one of the complaints(for lack of a better term,) when it first opened was that people were so mesmerized by the huge tv that very few were looking at the action on the field and it sort of took the crowd out of the games, but the Cowboys are pretty good at doing that all by themselves

I went to the LSU game, like 10 years ago and that's all I would look at. I had to force myself to look down and watch the field. I was like, I could watch TV at the house and save a ton of fkin money.

that's the exact affect it was having, especially when they panned to the cheerleaders
