Morning

Today is the day Vet comes later this evening at 6. Snuggling Butters now while he still sleeps. Gonna make him some scrambled eggs and sausage for breakfast. Only people food for him his last day.

Thanks teech! Yes he has. 17 is crazy long for a pug to live. This still sucks. Poor baby had coughing fits at least twice an hour last night. At least he let me hold him off and on last night. He was always the best cuddle buddy.

actually it’s more based on each breed. Smaller dogs in general live longer

I used some dog age calculator for him and he is like 86-87

Well the diaper thing with him was more cause of his pug myelopathy. He was losing sensation so was having accidents. It progressively makes their back legs weaker and weaker(but isn’t painful at all). He could still move around as long as it was carpet. So I had to put rugs everywhere. Pug myelopathy can affect younger pugs also so it wasn’t an old age thing.

Lately….he is having trouble even moving around on carpet.
