I know he did. The best coffee is the one that even once it's finished and has done what you wanted it to do has you ready to turn the pot on again and go for a second, or has you ready in anticipation of the next time you get to enjoy it. Life's too short for bad coffee and struggling through to the end just because it's there. It happens from time to time when you need a cup to get by, but life's too short for that to be the norm. IMHO.
