I don't want my father's guns to go to someone who hasn't used them. Haven't fired them, hasn't hunted with them and spent time with my dad with those firearms. I have with almost all of them

B&B- how much more of a divide will the acquisition of your father's guns produce between you and your brother? Would he want some of the guns also?
If there is not a will in place, everything is left to the remaining spouse- so she will have the ultimate say in this sans a will stating otherwise.

Technically, he's just as entitled to them as you are. Might have to buy him out if the guns mean that much to you.

It sucks but that's just how these things go. I definitely wouldn't remove anything without him knowing. Maybe you'll get lucky and he will be reasonable about it. Good luck.
