Why doesn’t your kid have his own debit card and checking account?

Both my kids had their own debit cards the day they turned 13

My kids had them at 6. Why did you make them wait until 13?

No they didn’t.

13 was the age.

We went to every bank in town and Capitol One was the only bank that would let a 13 year old open up an account as long as an adult was connected to it.

I think it was like 360 or something like that.

She does. I asked her to go get groceries so I gave her my card last night. She never gave it back to me.

Ended up using the other kid’s debit card. I don’t ever use my credit cards and I don’t think I have an active one.

Yep. He’s 19 now and we still have access to it. : lol: so we know how much money he has plus he has a separate savings account that he’s forbidden to touch.

We’ll Venmo him money when he gets low. Plus he still has both sets of grandparents that spoil the hair outta him.

He’s coming home tomorrow to pack and get my AMEX then flying out for Copper Mountain Sunday morning

Fkn kids. The older they get the more expensive they are

ok
When is the last time you took cash out of a bank? The teller asked me so many questions I told her it was none of her business, and then the manager came out. She got cursed at too
