Got into a car accident driving to work yesterday. Happened 5 minutes from my house right before I was getting on the freeway. I had a green light and a guy turning left in front of me smashed into me. Jeep not driveable and towed away. Only rental I could find at numerous rental car locations (fall break is next week) was a sporty convertible Miata. Which feels like driving a go cart compared to my Jeep

Morning all - had a rough day yesterday, sprained my shoulder wrist and knee slipping in spilled diesel after pulling an unconscious driver out of his wrecked semi yesterday in Atlanta. Got checked out via workers comp yesterday, rested last night, delivering in Dallas today, then likely taking the weekend off. Getting too old for beating myself up like that.

Thanks Trav Still waiting for claims adjuster from the other driver’s insurance to call me. Hoping they don’t total my Jeep out but guess we shall see.
No one was seriously hurt (the other driver had his young daughter in the car with him) so that’s what really matters.

I'm losing over 3 lbs a week at this point. I was at 225 when I got on the scale this morning.

He was coming from opposite side of me. Busy intersection. Green light and I’m just driving along and he hits me while trying to turn left onto crossing street. A car in front of me was also hit by him.
Guy got very hostile with the police officer. Starting cussing him out and threatening him with his little girl standing right by him all scared looking. Guy was really jumpy. Had that methy look to him.

His dad showed up to pick him up and he was very calm with the officer and was trying to calm his son down. When I called I was told a claim had already been filed. The guy who hit me also had his car towed away. The other lady was able to drive her car away.
