Well if you ever play in La. and get into trouble, just drop my name, it'll get you places.

What are your thoughts on Pickleball? All the Fairhope Tennis players don't care for it

Morning, Lith!

I’ve only tried it a couple times. It was fun but was worried that it would mess up my tennis swing. Pickleball paddles are kind of slick and my tennis strokes have major top spin. When I would swing for the pickleball in that down to up motion it would just fall straight down

We are thinking about trying it at the country club near our lakehouse with other couples there. My husband and I would both be beginners so it’s something we could play together. I can’t play tennis with him bc we would probably get divorced after our first match.

Well, I’ll just keep that in my back pocket!

I love to play at the club in Lafayette but Louisiana is a very weird, closed off tennis group. You never see teams from Louisiana compete outside of their state. Texas, Florida, Georgia, Rhode Island, New York and Arizona seem to be well represented at all championship levels.

We're much to sophisticated to play in those states.

That’s a shame bc y’all would have an advantage with your acclimation to humidity. Might take the win during the summer just due to being the last one standing.

Most of the ladies on my championship team also play mixed doubles. However, I’ve found it only works well when the husband is the higher ranked player by 2 levels.
