Good morning and Happy New Year, Sevens, BFrog, Hangit, t00F, Peej, and many others.

It sure felt good waking up and being clear-headed. Yesterday was a struggle.

Got things to get done...

Had a bad case of it yesterday. Stayed up Friday night drinking bourbon and watching football. Bad part was I was in the mountains. Had to drive home early yesterday. Rolled out and behind the wheel about 630a and wore it all day and night until a small steak and 1/2 potato, with 2 bourbons made it ok... Today, mucho better.

I’ve been raving about a coworkers black eyed peas for years (and I don’t usually like black eyed peas) and I got his recipe and sent it to DW to make and he got so excited at how good they came out he brought me some at work. Now I’m craving cornbread.

It is over in the Baptist bible belt since I no longer live in Catholiclandia.

In other news, I bought glasses online at Sams since I did not want to bother with going to find a glasses place. Wore them for the first time yesterday. They are black frames and I usually wear tortoise shell so I feel like I am wearing the Incredibles eye mask.
