same. We went multiple times in the years leading up to covid. Our experience was the same. The weather is amazing and the food is delicious.

We were approached on the street by a homeless man who asked hubs for his leftovers. Hubs was sad to give away his food but excited that the man took out a fork and started eating it. In nola and BR if it is not cash it is getting thrown to the ground. Homeless don't want food very often, just their next fix.

Eta: this was in San Diego

We usually stay in the Del Mar or La Jolla area and day trip to other places. Actually headed there at the end of the month.

The state of California? Many here, and in the South in general, won’t visit Cali because of a few trashy and unsafe urban areas and muh liberals. It’s as ridiculous as people not coming to Louisiana because of NOLA and BR politics and violence. Just avoid the bad areas. Plenty of normal people.

I get it man. I love going to California but yea its stricken to certain areas. San Diego is awesome and I love it there. Wine country also. San Francisco to me is just a bigger Nola. Ive been to LA too many times to list so its kinda meh to me now.

That idea could net you dozens of dollars. I’d pay $10 for a TD Poster Bobblehead.
