That was the preset. I've already moved it down to 72, but I also have very big fans in the bedrooms. I was cold last night at 72.

74 isn't bad. Especially with ceiling fan.

We keep our house at 78 all the time.

But....with very low humidity outside it feels much cooler inside. Friend of ours from LA was just here visiting and he couldn't believe our thermostat was at 78. Said it felt cooler than that.

I could do 74 with a ceiling fan but my wife refuses to sleep with it on. She says it fires up her allergies.

it is a little on the warm side even with fans. I like to have covers though. That and I am a gigantic pussy

I love my fan on. If a woman tells me she can't sleep with a fan on, that's a dealbreaker. I'd have night sweats without one. No TV in bedroom, fine, but no way I say okay to no fan.

Some houses have good insulation. I know mine sits at 75 during the day and all the rooms except bedrooms are comfortable and cool feeling. The master bedroom gets hot though

Well when I say this thing is seriously cool I mean it. It only took me 20 minutes to setup too. I was shocked how easy it was.

I have to have the ceiling fan on, and we have a standing fan thing. I like the noise.

What's wrong with a nice rug? It pulls the room together...

I love that rug. Hand woven Persian.

I assume you can control that thermostat from anywhere? I turn mine up to like 78 when I leave in the morning and the first thing I do when I get home is turn it back down. I'd like to be able to turn it on when I leave work.
