Yea it is kind of a messed up thing to do to a cat, especially if you plan on letting them go outside. Never had a cat declawed.

The only thing I've had to get removed from a cat was an eye. Rescued a cat at my mom's camp back in the day and I think he got in a fight or some animal out in the swamp bit his eye and blinded him. Poor baw's eye was infected when I found him.
