Morning Soldier 
Yes indeed, 2 more weeks
that'll be the first of 3 weddings this year. Everybody close to me decided this was the year to get married 
Also put in my 2 weeks notice this past Tuesday. Gonna be a great feeling to walk away from this soul sucking job.

I finished the Ribs left over from Memorial Day last night.To me,they're even better after they've sat a little while.
Hopefully I won't have "Mud Butt".
Good for you Ellis Dee.Better sooner that later.Best of luck Brother.

I smoke a fair amount of food. Turkeys, Boston butts, ribs and stuff.
Rouge and I have exchanged rubs and sauces by mail. He was kind enough to send me a very generous amount of stuff...I have not taken the time to test it all but getting ready to.

Thanks LCA It's a bitter-sweet feeling. I'll miss the people I work with (well, some of them), but I'm looking forward to the next chapter in my life

I am moving along. Me and my SO are taking the kids on huge camping trip through Texas in about 16 days. It'll be my last chance to spend a lot of time with them until Christmas unfortunately.

I will have to drop y'all my Rub recipe on here sometime.
I have been into smoking different foods for almost three years now and I'm a little decent but still have a lot to learn. I just did my second brisket over Mothers Day. I will be smoking a turkey and a ham for Thanksgiving and Christmas and any hints are appreciated.
Each year gets better but I'm still far from being an expert.

Thanks tidal. It's been a trip in the making for months now.
It'll be my first trip hauling a camper trailer a good distance so I'm a little nervous but nonetheless anxious to get the trip started.
My kids are excited as can be which is the best part.

Oh I claim no great expertise. I know what I like and I keep it very simple. The primary reason I smoke is that it takes a long time and I can drink beer while I am 'working'.

Me and my brother use the time during the holidays to drink and catch up
We usually start the cooking at around 3 or 4 am.
I'm definitely interested in different rubs, though. I just got into adding dark brown sugar into mine and it's made my chicken quarters much more flavorful.
