I once commented to a girl I was seeing and our 2 friends how much said girl and I had drinking wine in a condo's hot tub the night before that we had been planning on hitting up..... well I forgot that I was a different girl I had went to the hot tub with until it had already come out of my mouth.... she just looked me and shook her head and packed her shite when we got back to my apt and hauled arse to not talk to me or answer my calls for like a month.

I cheated every day for a few months while basically living with my gf. Never slipped up, but when she asked, I told her. I might be a lot of things, but a liar and a coward are neither of them. Washing the sheets every day was a major PITA. Plus, my roommate got angry my house was always smelling like Aqua de Gio.
I've been tempted many times, and propositioned right in front of GFs a bunch since then. Since I saw what it did to that original chick, I vowed not to do it again. It's pretty tough to hold out when a good looking girl straight up tells you she wants you to take her home and your woman doesn't need to come

To each his own, but lying is something that comes out of your mouth IMHO.

I will say most of my cheating or being cheated on was mostly in the grey area of dating. Times during half arse splits or fights that revolved around breaking up and getting back together or trying to make things work when it was completely broken, etc
I've had a couple females frick my heart completely over in the end of relationships.
I have a personal rule now that I will restrain from hooking up for X amount of time after a break up, in case we end up getting back together there isn't any extra notches on the bed post to complicate things.... unfortunately the females I date for some reason don't have that line of thinking..... also friends and ex-friends aren't off limits in a females brain either

It's rough for sure, I'm biased the other way I guess so I feel differently about it. Not pointing fingers at you just playing devils advocate - I'm not without flaw either

I'm pretty independent and not very needy. Apparently I needed to learn to be an obnoxious clingy girl so they didn't have so much opportunity
