A quick google says a cezanne sold for 250 million in 2011. As the most expensive painting sold in the private sector thus far. I guess we will never know the true value of the Mona Lisa bc it will never go for sale.

The Mona Lisa has worldwide appeal. The US Constitution only appeal to someone in the US. Cuts the market share dramatically.
