Always love walking into work by the ER entrance and seeing all the cute firefighters walking out.

You guys have a habitual fire problem there?

Sorry, I’m all hormonal right now cause of meds I’m on. I have snapped at my husband every day this week for no reason.

Is it okay to ask how its going?
I never know if women want to talk about it, or if they're afraid to jinx it, or if it makes them feel bad when someone asks.

fricking goalposts keep moving on me.

Right now I’m basically waiting to see when I will ever get to start IVF. While taking meds that make me a bitch and then doing more painful tests to see if I need more surgeries before I start IVF.

(Don’t worry...it’s ok to ask me btw)

Always thinking good and hopeful thoughts for you, Nurse!

ETA: I totally understand the feeling, GA... the last thing anyone wants is to upset someone going through all of this.

you know, most of us know we're like this, even though we don't always know the why. I'm a pretty direct person, and I try to be pretty honest with myself about my own shortcomings, and I'd usually rather be asked, its just easier to deal with head on for me.
and at least you're trying to understand it. The way most men on this board e-talk about women and their attitude about them scares me a little. its very negative at times.

My bestie has PCOS and something else that make it pretty much impossible for her to get pregnant or carry to term if that small chance were to happen. I offered to surrogate for her, but the chance of passing it on was pretty high, so that's not much of an option either. She ended up marrying a guy with 2 tweens and shes had some good times in the stepmom role, but she still struggles with the desire. I hope it works for you, I'm sure you'll make a great mom!

Well, I would never say this in front of them, but you kind of have to take whats said with a grain of salt right? I mean, it's not cool to be sensitive to others feelings on here. But I did feel bad for messing with nurse. Like I said, I didn't realize she was dealing with some things.
