We stay at Silver Shells , that's about as East as it gets before you get to Sand Destin but I try to avoid that toll at all cost.

We stayed at sandestin resort, the crowds suck but it's nice to have a waitress on the beach for drinks and snacks

Yes. That's very nice. Silver Shells has beach service as well as a bar/grill right on the beach. Our kids are getting old enough that we open a tab for the week and they can go get whatever they want to eat and drink all day.
I litterally never have to get out of my chair except to go in the water to piss or take a dip in the pool.
