But if power is out in literally the entire town, you'll likely have much less need to go anywhere, so you probably aren't driving around much, so I don't see why your full charge wouldn't easily last you more than a few days. If you have to drive a bit farther out, then you're likely driving to places with power, and you can get to a supercharger or destination charger to charge up.
Not necessarily. After Laura, I’ve driven the most miles I ever had for those couple weeks. Our entire region of the state was out for 10 days. My company had to provide a truck onsite so that employees would have fuel for their personal vehicles and route trucks.

Question for those with EVs. If you charge regularly at home, how does it affect your electricity bill?
And that's a 20-30 mile roundtrip for work(wife, I work from home) and general use around town with the family.

I was seriously considering an EV when I didn’t work from home since the office had charging stations. A commuter EV makes a lot of sense if your workplace offers a charging station.

One of our local Walmart’s put in some charging stations as well but that means I have to go to a Walmart.
Like I said before I’m looking into a cybertruck to haul a bass boat but quite a few of my fishing spots also rent out spots with electrical hookups so it could work well. I could charge my truck and boat at the same time.
