In the majority of the animal kingdom it is fact that the male of any species is usually the more colorful, striking and attractive member of the species.

And while I am all about the ladies, it is true as well about homo sapien. Take away make-up and fake hair, lips, etc and it's an undeniable fact that we men take 10 minutes to look our best while the females of our kind take 1 to 2 hours to look viable.
Yes there are exceptions, but as a general rule thank goodness for Avon, Maybeline and all the other "make-a-woman-look-prettier" type of products.
