This is what the Parade Ground looks like after you pass through the check point. The SUV's you see are Blackwater's and The White one in the distance was ours. You can clearly see only Military Personel or affiliates are allowed there. They also use it as a drop zone and pick up point in a lot of cases.

This is the type of shite we were doing that day on the outside

It was a fun occasion for us, and it was me and my Iraqi friends last day in Iraq after we worked there for 3 years together. You tend to remember details about situations like that.

I know, I don't really see how the location is gonna help prove or disprove it. It's a very famous landmark, I've been saying that from the jump, that's whats funny to me about how he's running his investigation when he has very shitty attention to detail and comprehension skills.

I think a lot of has to do with some people on here are inherently computer dorks, which carries with it a severe paranoia of being tricked or made to look foolish. Hence they seek to disprove or disbelieve anything because they are waiting for the "Gotcha!" they gotten since 4th grade.

Me? I could give a frick. Looks damn real to me based on what I observe in each and every minute detail; I'm smart enough to know I don't know everything about the universe; and You could come out tomorrow with a GOTCHA and I'd laugh, dog-cuss you, threaten, then laugh again.

Yeah, I am the same way in most instances, and I can understand the skepticism to an extent. But this is something that bothered me for a while and I wanted to share it with people and see their reaction, so I guess I should expect it. I guess knowing the details in my own mind, it just gets frustrating having to re-explain the same details twice a day to a new special investigator or so called amateur ghost hunter.

Me too man. And I would love nothing more for someone to prove I'm not seeing what I'm seeing. But it's gonna take a whole hell of a lot, again considering how I know we were alone that day. That is just simply something I wouldn't miss with my naked eye.

Well I don't hang out in the IZ so I want to be sure where you're talking about it if I get the chance. Excuse me for being a little skeptical about seeing some ghosts on a video. If I go there in the next few months I'll let ya know.

where are you right now, are you in the Baghdad area? Just wondering because I know some other cool places in other regions of Baghdad that are quite freaky.

Oh and don't be too worried about OPSEC because I'm sure the Mahdi Army doesn't monitor Tiger Droppings

I still am weirded out by this. I showed it to all my friends, one said it was lame and I actually felt offended I sort of yelled at her.

I'm serious man. I showed her the still pictures on page 19 and everything. It wasn't as if she disputed it but she just seemed not to care at all. I was sort of annoyed she showed such disinterest or nonchalance about it.

I hate a bitch who doesn't act interested in a good ghost story.

No kidding. Check out my other thread. I know I sound crazy in it. But those deer freaked me out. Maybe I'm on edge about these ghosts.

I'm in Salman Pak, its to the south across the Tigris. We have the Ctesiphon arch. It was built in the 4th century.

I have some pictures of it, but haven't put them on the net yet. Salman Pak was a nice vacation spot before the war. Really nice homes. But just south of it was the suspected chemical weapons factory and the anti-terrorist training camp. Just to the north is the nuke plant.

One of my best friends spent about 2 years working down there. Most likely the only way you will ever see the Green Zone(assuming you are Army) is if you get a 4 day RnR(usually you get to pick between there or Qatar). They have a Palace there not far from the old Embassy with a big pool and it's pretty safe, probably the safest place in the IZ. if you do get to go there, it's about 2 miles southeast of the Stadium. Just ask one of the guards and most times they will drive you by there and let you take pictures, although I heard they started tearing some of it down since last year because the Iraqi Govt wants to destroy all landmarks of Saddam's regime.

Yeah no chance for the RnR for me. I was there a few months back at CSH. I'm with 3rd ID, we head home this summer.

On occaison we have to travel for different reasons to different bases so who knows. I hope they don't take that stuff down. It looks pretty cool. Plus I'm all about trying to catch your ghost family on tape too.
