I adopted a dog that is the same breed as Rodrigue's "Blue Dog" inspiration (his own dog that was a black and white terrier/spaniel mix).

I want a blue dog painting but will not pay that much for it. If I can get one at an estate sale, that's what I would do. I priced them out a few months ago. If it is signed and numbered, they still get a decent haul.

The price on these really varies based on the size and the numbers. Is the signature a printed signature or a real one?

No offense but I’ve never seen the fascination in these paintings. I’m sure their worth a ton, but they just don’t do anything for me and would look completely out of place in my house and anyone else’s house that I’ve been to.
