Blue dogs are the biggest, ugliest wastes of money out there. Good luck selling those pieces of crap.

Honestly, I don't get the whole blue dog thing. I mean Dr. Seuss did "One Dog, Two Dog, Red Dog, Blue Dog" and gets no credit or royalties from this asshat of a artist?

Wonder if there was ink jet available at the time?

There is an Advocate article about increased value of Rodrigue's work. It states, Neal Auction Co. auctioned a Silk Screen for $5200+ in April of this year. Unless you hate the print and just want to get rid of it, I would have it professionally mounted and framed to prevent damage. Good Luck!!! P.s. Don't take any wooden nickels!

Hey - I realize this post is from last year, but if you still have the poster and want to sell it please let me know. I had one of these but it was destroyed thanks to Hurricane Sandy. I've been trying to replace for years. Thanks!

Great find! Frame it at a framer not Hobby Lobby and hang it. I've seen his signed prints sell for thousands. If it's an original it could be worth up to 50k. His stuff sky rocketed after his death.

My wife and I bought one from Rodrique's gallery in the French Quarter. His first wife actually waited on us. We paid $350 which we thought was a fortune.
This is the one we bought but with a white background.
Top Dog $5495
