* TORNADO WARNING FOR...
SOUTHERN HINDS COUNTY IN CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI...

* UNTIL 630 PM CDT

* AT 552 PM CDT...A CONFIRMED TORNADO WAS LOCATED NEAR UTICA...AND
MOVING EAST AT 45 MPH.

HAZARD...DAMAGING TORNADO AND PING PONG BALL SIZE HAIL.

SOURCE...RADAR CONFIRMED TORNADO.

IMPACT...FLYING DEBRIS WILL BE DANGEROUS TO THOSE CAUGHT WITHOUT
SHELTER. MOBILE HOMES WILL BE DAMAGED OR DESTROYED. DAMAGE
TO ROOFS...WINDOWS AND VEHICLES WILL OCCUR. TREE DAMAGE IS
LIKELY.

* THE TORNADO WILL BE NEAR...
DRY GROVE AROUND 600 PM CDT.
RAYMOND AROUND 605 PM CDT.
BYRAM AROUND 615 PM CDT.
JACKSON AROUND 625 PM CDT.

Red/green layer is base velocity. Red touching green means rotation, the brighter the colors, the stronger the wind. When they wrap around each other, that means tornado.

Looks like your daughter will be safe in Ridgeland. Literally one tornado on the ground passing by 5 miles north, about to cross the highway between Ridgeland and Canton. The other tornado is south of her, it will pass south of Jackson and hit between Jackson and Byram.
