Unless you like a raw Whopper you have to wait for BK to cook it as well.
You have a point about the Drive Thru though, but I counter that by saying I could walk into a Five Guys and walk back out with a burger , fries and drink faster than you could drive thru at BK and get the same.

burger king runs like 50 whopper patties through the grill at a time then puts them in a warmer and sometimes microwaves them
