Well I won’t be by myself tomorrow. Just so happened B’s sister and her husband decided to travel to San Diego this weekend to take my nephew to Sea World. So I’m may meet up for dinner with them and will spend the day with them tomorrow at Sea World for my bday.
Maybe not dinner though. My hotel is on the beach/boardwalk here. They are staying like 40 minutes away not by the beach. Might just kick it at a bar for dinner on the boardwalk.

Happy birthday.
I turned 40 in January. I handled it much better than I did when I turned 30.

Hops on the Harbor
7 p.m. to 10 p.m., Flagship Cruises & Events
This month, enjoy a craft beer dinner cruise around the San Diego Bay paired with brews from Duck Foot Brewing. The menu for this installment of “Hops on the Harbor” includes four 6-ounce, beer tastings expertly matched with courses. For instance, Duck Foot’s golden honey ale, “Drink This or the Bees Die,” will be paired with English pea gnocchi, Caesar salad and garlic bread. Also on the brew menu: Hazy McBeerFace (a West Coast hazy IPA) and Sassy Tart (an imperial Berliner Weisse with Montmorency cherries). The dinner cruise boards at 7 p.m. from 990 North Harbor Dr. and sails past the San Diego skyline, USS Midway, Star of India and other Maritime Museum ships and the Coronado Bay Bridge. Tickets cost $69.50 for adults and $41.70 for children ages 4 to 12; kids 3 and under are free. Reservations are recommended.

Aw man - now I really wish our times would overlap so I could have kept you company! I arrive Monday but I believe you said you’ll be gone?

No, nurse mentioned spending her last day in her 30s and I just mentioned to her that turning 40 wasn't as bad as it was turning 30.. That's all.. Problem?

Yeah I’m driving back Sunday.
It won’t be so bad. I don’t mind alone time. And I’m on the beach. Might just rent a bike and ride around. Go for a long walk on the beach. Read a good book. With all the crap I’ve dealt with lately...the alone time will be good for my soul.
