My grammar is on the upper end of what is used here. My apologies for making a few mistakes after getting high on my work from home day. I usually write crisp lines.

What is idiotic about saying we should not have used nukes?
You people get so caught up in towing your jingoistic lines that any divergence from those lines is deemed idiotic, stupid.
I don't fricking know what the best course of action was. But I don't think mass execution is ever the answer. It makes us no better than them.

We would have fire bombed every Japanese city to the ground as well as hitting them with regular dumb bombs until the country was rubble. Our next move would be to bombard the shore line with our entire Navy all while continuing the air campaign. After we had sustained all of this for weeks or even months we would send our Marines ashore where they would be met with fierce resistance. I cannot tell you what the total casualty number would be but it would be far greater thn the use of two A-bombs.

Sorry about that. The pinko took ownership in my mind when he started posting about how wrong we were for saving American lives in WW2.
