Did you take care of it? Unusual for a 4 y/o Suburban to have issues..

GM is going back to the 5.7 in 2027…

Yep. Very well maintained. Throwing codes left and right, engine mounts breaking, AC failed twice, cylinder pack issues.

I know it’s an anomaly but I’m spooked. Was told that engine was bullet proof. Only GM we’ve ever owned.

I had a 5.0 STX and was scared of upgrading because of the engine downgrade alone. Went down to an 3.5. and it’s been fine. I’m sure the 2.7 is decent too. You will be fine! If it bothers you that much then I suggest you figure out how to get laid or something.

I know the 2.7's have come a long way and make a ton of HP for their size.

But, I just can't get my head around a full size pickup with a 167

(i refuse use the commie metric system)

I will go back to screaming at clouds now.
