I had an aunt and uncle who lived in Houston. Both are dead now but summers were fun when I was a kid.

I would travel to Houston to visit my two sets of aunts and uncles. I went to the Houston natural science museum. I went ice skating at the Galleria. Saw the circus at the Summit one year. Played putt-Putt with my uncle John. I had the opportunity to learn about WordPerfect at a conference. I was free to be a kid. I always cried getting on that Greyhound bus coming back to Baton Rouge.
