Awhile back I posed the question about the Cajun quotient of Jennings (and on a postcard, was told "very little".

Looking at a map, I would ask you this: would you call Bayou Nez Pique the functional boundary? It kinda works further north: east of the bayou is Basile, which I always thought was as Cajun as it gets; but on the west side is Elton, which as far as I know is mostly black/Native American and not French at all. I have never been to either town.
